With a backpack full of zeal and zest we left Delhi (again! :P) for Bhutan, for the treacherous rocky trail along the river Paro :D Passing through beautiful villages, scattered hamlets and farmhouses, this is without a doubt the most beautiful and unspoiled trek in the Himalayas

Thombu Shong has a few yak herders
Continued walking along the trail, over a ridge and dropping into another stream. Crossing the stream, the trail heads up the hillside, dropping into a small valley. The ascends and descends are challenging and can leave tou exhausted. Again a short descend leads to Thombu Shong.
