Go before rush hour✔The glazed pillars💯
Bangalore has a lot of colourful history but I thought I should start with the buildings. First up is the Town Hall🏛, while it's purpose is a bit dry the building itself is beautiful. Graceful pillars topped with a triangular pediment, large balconies and arched doorways!💯✔
  • Badami House

Floral Facade😍Stone Lettering💯Used to be George Oakes building✔
Next up is the Badami House🏚 which is home to the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy and the KSTDC. A gorgeous building I could see it is an important landmark for Bangalore's history 💯✔

    Artistic Windows😍It got a spruce in 2⃣0⃣0⃣9⃣
A stunning edifice that was first owned by the Wodeyars of Mysore the architecture is beautiful beyond compared. I stared in open mouthed wonder🎆 at the grand entrance and spacious balconies. It gives a palatial vibe!🏯

    Stained glass windows❤It cost 4⃣5⃣0⃣0⃣0⃣Rs to build✔The soaring belfry😍
This consecrated ground is on the list because of its truly magnificent structure. Began in 1⃣8⃣6⃣6⃣ and belonging to the Church of Scotland it took two years to build. I stared so long at the Gothic-style doors ⛪goers started giving me weird looks! It was worth it though!✔

The long green windows💯Ask the security to let you in✔
This salmon hued beauty was totally an impulse stop. Couple of my friends kept bragging about the architecture so I decided to pay a visit. And they were right. Only the 5⃣th engineering college to be established in India, they got the architecture perfect and on point!💯✔

The looming central tower🏰Entry to campus is monitored✔
I learnt that Swami Vivekananda, JRD Tata, Sir William Ramsay and the Wodeyars all pitched in to bring this glory filled structure in to existence. Which blew my mind. A cross between Hogwarts 🏯and the Buckingham Palace 🏰this is truly an architectural marvel😍💯

Now libraries are something of an obsession of mine. Especially old beautifully constructed ones. This beauty called Seshadri Iyer Memorial naturally makes my list! Elegant pillars, sweeping porticoes and a circular facade this building's got it all🏛💯

The Stately vibe of the place💯
Although the work it does isn't the most thrilling of jobs the building itself makes for a stunning view. The elegant archways and the detailed windows are sight for sore eyes. An imposing facade in my amateur history tour🏰💯

    Searching for ghosts👻
A tribute to Queen Victoria's 6⃣0⃣ year reign, Victoria Hospital commands quite a bit of Bangalore's history. So it had to be on my tour. A stone building dotted by a series of curved archways and topped by pillars and a triangular pediment it was truly a magnificent tribute🏰💯
