    Driving through the mountains
Remote and beautiful, Wakhan Valley shared with Afghanistan and peppered with Silk Road forts was my first ever destination of Tajikistan. A long drive from my hotel, the blue water had some extraordinarily soothing element in it.โ›ฐ

    Snow caped mountains
With spectacular views of the snow bound kush, this valley also holds a very imminent place for Buddhist ruins giving us a history of the monasteries and monks. Surrounded among mountains and tales, first day here was indeed on of my most lived ones!๐Ÿ’•

Gigantic mountains and Tajik style architecture was where my succeeding night was gonna be spent. Finally reaching Iskanderkul, this was the view I received from my room. Always living in hotel rooms, this time I preferred to get a taste of the heritage by booking an AirBNB.๐Ÿ˜

Tajiks, with their European looking faces, wide eyes and a roman nose, made my time here very fascinating. I stumbled across these kids while my stay in Iskanderkul. Unable to understand each otherโ€™s language, they however managed to teach me a few local games, haha.โค๏ธ

Full of exotic bazaar and lazy back streets, this city of Tajikistan offered less chaos and a lot of love. Strolling in these bazaar and greeted with the locals full of excitement made me feel so much at home. From juicy fruits to ethnic scarves, this bazaar had it all!

A hoarder of sunsets, interacting with the locals I found this small hill in one of the largest cityโ€™s of this country. Standing up here overlooking the city chaos as the sky bled beautiful shades of orange and purple, this indeed was one of the most exhilarating memories.

In this city full of forgotten mosques and domed tombs, I came across this one also known as the โ€œBlue domeโ€. Neatly staggered bricks building this beautiful monument while itโ€™s dome shone as the sun was up, it was huge and magnificent!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

Most visible monument and a national building, this statue was that of the 10th venture Samanid ruler, occupying the prime place on Marjdani Azadi. Given details by the tour guide I hired there, I learned a lot about the Tajik history and heritage!

My last day here was consumed to shop souvenirs! Visiting this famous bazaar of Danshube known as the Shah Mansur Bazaar, I found things that had the typical ethic style of the Tajiks!
