    Singapore
Singapore is the world's most expensive city which is why I had left the thought of visiting Singapore before I could get into a good corporate world and go on a solo trip! But sometimes it takes little money to explore the heart of a place and that was Singapore for me;)
  • Pulau Ubin (Jetty Entrance)
    Pulau Ubin (Jetty Entrance)
$2 from Changi Point Ferry Terminal
We had planned before we set out on this inexpensive expedition and our first stop was the island of Pulau Ubin which is still stuck in time to when people lived in villages. Apart from the hustle bustle of the city this place is quiet and green and just $2 away from ferry point!
  • Pulau Ubin
    Pulau Ubin
I swear this place gave us a going back in time feel! It is amazing that Singapore has actually retained this place with villages and crazy natural habitat!
  • Pulau Ubin
    Pulau Ubin
Tell me who wouldn't like to have a vacay in a place like this! If we had only one place to explore we would've been in for staying here throughout but there was so much more to go;)
  • Sentosa
    Sentosa
Our next destination was Sentosa! Sentosa had been a military base previously but is now a beautiful resort island! We got to Sentosa through the Broadwalk since it is the cheapest. The travelators cost us just $1.
  • Universal Studios Singapore
    Universal Studios Singapore
Once we had reached here we indulged in the Universal Studios! If you can't visit Hollywood visit Singapore instead. The best part here was that it is a super clean place which makes the experience even more better!

Take a moment and adore this beauty, imagine yourself here without a hole in your pocket!
  • S.E.A. Aquarium
    S.E.A. Aquarium
Here we also visited the S.E.A Aquarium. The entry fee was about 2000 Indian rupees but since we hadnt spent a lot in Pulau Ubin we decided to do here! Also trust me this place is absolutely worth it, infact I would say they charge less than what they show! Wonderful ;)
  • Sentosa
    Sentosa
Even though we didn't indulge in this we did see many people go ahead. Not sure how much it costs but looks fun. Scary to me obviously:/
  • Singapore Art Museum
    Singapore Art Museum
The next day we found ourselves exploring art at the Singapore Art Museum! And guess what: ENTRY IS FREE Yes! Entry to this modern archeological museum is absolutely free! Who wouldn't be in for this:)
  • Singapore Art Museum
    Singapore Art Museum
And once we were inside, I found myself among art peices that werent like those typical olden days but modern contemporary art installations! Something never before seen and never before thought of!
  • Singapore Art Museum
    Singapore Art Museum
More is always less! And this place was a perfect example for us that day! The more we explored the more we still wanted to go on. These installations blew my mind away, what art! What technique! What execution! Is really crazy how artist even come up with these ideas!!!

The night show that happens here is also something we didn't want to miss! So we stayed around the place and made sure we waited back for the night show! I still hadn't got over the art overdose in the museum and now with this I think I was high on art that day! Worth it though:)
  • Lau Pa Sat Festive Market
    Lau Pa Sat Festive Market
If you are a foodie and you miss this place out while in Singapore you shall regret it! Before we even came here I didn't even know there existed a food court like this and when we got there it looked expensive but guess what, it wasn't! The food here was super cheap!
  • Lau Pa Sat Festive Market

A foodie's paradise I told you! Prawns, chicken, mutton! Oh god the list is neverending. And the smell lingers all around and we didn't want to leave!
  • Read Bridge
    Read Bridge
Another amazing place we visited in our 4 day was the Read Bridge! The bridge divides Clarke Quay and North Boat Quay and is one public favourite spot.

We grabbed some beers from 7- Eleven which was about a minute away from the bridge and say there observing people and soaking in the feel of the city! They also have ferry services but expensive obviously!
  • Singapore
    Singapore
We had little time and also very little money to spend while we were here and therefore we decided to go around the city in 5 hours with the help of the Free Singapore Tour organized by Changing Airport and Singapore Airlines! This tour runs 5 times a day!
  • Little India
    Little India
In the tour our first stop was Little India and though I would say that this place is better and cleaner than India it retains the colourful nature of our country! And there are also many Indian restaurants but we didn't have much time to spend here since we had just 5 hours!
  • Little India
    Little India
However since everyone in the bus wanted to try something Indian, most women did get their hands decorated with henna! Indian feels I tell you:D

    Singapore Flyer
We also payed a visit to the Singapore Flyer and though we didn't get a chance to go inside it and witness the beauty place we could still imagine how wonderful it might have been!
  • Merlion Park
    Merlion Park
And the last one for the day was the Merlion Park where we stopped for about 20-25 minutes! Singapore looks heavenly at night I swear! When this day came to an end we now say that we had explored Singapore, we had driven through the streets, spoken to the locals, had a good time!
  • Marina Bay
    Marina Bay
It was our last day and we were simply going on sightseeing! You must visit these gardens here! Though their structures are super different the look amazing and made us feel even amazing!
  • Marina Bay Sands Hotel
    Marina Bay Sands Hotel
Though we could not afford to stay at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, they are considerate enough and let's people access the observation deck in Tower 3. When we got to know this we couldn't resist. We took a ticket at $20 and were soon in paradise! Beautiful isn't it! Thanks MBSH!
  • Singapore
    Singapore
When we went home we still had money in our pockets and we had still explored Singapore, still been to beautiful places, still been a part of the old culture, still seen the land from up above and so much more!
