    Fulfilling my dream 😍
We came to Leh at 2.30PM with two of my other biker friends. I was about to ride through the highest motorable road to Khardung La! I was very excited, this is a dream come true for me. We quickly had some rice for lunch and explored Leh in the evening.

Before starting our ride, I had to fix my bike 😅. There were a few issues that I didn't know was an issue also! Thankfully we got everything checked before starting our ride in the morning.

    The view 😍
When the mechanic was fixing my bike, I decided to take a walk along the streets - maybe do some shopping! The view from Leg itself was stunning, so I couldn't wait to get to where I'm pointing at in the video!

Dont play here & disrespect culture
My friend and I visited one of the local temples in Leh. Although it looks like fun, it is very spiritual and calming to turn all the structures, especially the big one. It gave me this sense of stability and even this 2 mins of doing this was pure bliss.

Use plastic bags as extra cover
Next morning, we were all geared up for our ride. I couldn't find waterproof gloves and riding boots the previous evening. I managed with plastic covers taped to my socks as an extra lining. Plus the boots I had we're already comfortable.

Off we went! 8.03AM in the morning, we began our ride. Khardung La only 34 kilometres away but the ride is supposed to beautiful, scenic and of course, very cold. 😋 The roads in the beginning were clear and I picked up speed as I rode further.

    The cold!
I have literally four layers on because it's that cold! I have two layers of thermals, my t-shirt and a jacket. I also have gloves and boots on of course - it's still feel cold 👻 But the ride was awesome! We still had a long way to go, but it was a good start.

This was the beautiful Let point. Many people stop here for this gorgeous view but we were running behind schedule. It was only going to get colder from here so we kept on going before to reach the peak 🏔️

    Local food for breakfast 😍
So for some reason, they had closed the road ahead for a while. I'm guessing it was because of snow - maybe they were checking to see the safety ahead. Either way, it was a good pitstop for us. We had breakfast in a local restaurant here before we started riding again 😋

After 2 and a half hours, we had only 3 more kilometres to go! I was super excited but the cold was almost unbearable while riding the bike. I was a little irritated but I knew we had only a little more distance to ride until we reached 😎

Be careful because of slippery road
As we got closer to the peak, it became colder and colder. I literally couldn't feel my hands while riding, they were numb from the cold! The roads were also slippery but I drove slowly across to avoid any damage to the bike or me! I knew all this would be worth it in the end 😍

    The snow ❄️
So it's been snowing throughout, but I can only show you when we've stopped how much it's been snowing ❄️ I slowly got used to the cold when we stopped here for a while. As far as I could see, I could only see white snow! It was beautiful ❤️

    Reaching the peak 😍
Sorry for the noise! We finally reached the peak of Khardung La!! It was an awesome feeling of achievement. After bearing through the cold and the chilling wind with slippery roads, we'd made it 😍

    Meeting new people ❤️
I met some amazing people at Khardung La. Finally met some girls too! Some of them were from London coming back home to visit their friends. They've been riding from Leh too. It was fun talking to them & spending some time together 😎

Buy the iconic flag at the base
One of the guys I met offered me the iconic bikers flag! I'd forgotten to buy it at the base, but I assumed you'd get it at the peak. Unfortunately, you don't but this nice guy had an extra one and be offered me one. This was my symbol of achievement ❤️

We spent some time at the peak playing in the snow & getting something to eat. We started riding back down a few hours later. The roads were worse now because the sun had melted the snow on the road. I rode super carefully on my way down. Nevertheless, it was an awesome trip 😍
