    The local rajmaView of tosh
This picture was taken amidst the Apple orchards of kalga, a serene hamlet in Parvati valley of district Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. This was my second visit to kalga in two years. People here grow their own rajma and potatoes in particular, their apples are one of its kind.

Mornings like this are blissful. The chirping of birds, the sound of zephyr, gushing Parvati, apple orchards, beautiful people, sun basking and chai.. zindagi toh pahaad mein hai :) kalga is one such place I will keep coming back to, always.

If you happen to visit kalga, do visit "om Shanti home" and meet Ratan bhai ji. He talks of village, deities, Shiv ji, life and everything. He will offer you his chillum and tell you his trekking stories, he will cook for you and you will surely fall in love with him :)

    Grahan, Himachal Pradesh
The trek to grahan sets from here in kasol. If you are traveling to grahan, keep two things in mind, firstly, not to consume or carry any alcohol (the local deity restricts alcohol in the village, no kidding) secondly, it's a no network area, so forget the phone calls & internet.

Veg falafel and shakshuka😍 the cafes out here ooze out Israeli cuisine. Plenty of German bakeries around as well. Must try!!

Om shanti homestayPlan a trek with ratan bhaiji
Ratan BhaiJi is a lovely human. He makes ropes with pet bottles, vases and pots with sacks, uses beer bottles littered by senseless tourist as decoration in his kitchen garden. & if you are a trekking enthusiast, lemme tell you, there is hardly any peak in H.P he hasn't been to
