2. OpenAir, Frauenfeld, Switzerland

4. Beauregard Festival, Normandy, France


Rock, pop and alternative rock set in a stunning chateau overseen by legendary John Beauregard, this festival should be the reason for your reserved tickets to France for 6th-9th July 2018. This year will mark a decade of this huge yet inclusive festival in its serene and mesmerising surroundings brought to life by the celebrity lineup. This 2018, take a visit to the thrift shop with Macklemore, feel up the beats with Depeche Mode or take a ride of love with Jack White, all with $50 pass per day or $110 pass for 3 days. 5. Vida Festival, Spain

With an hour drive from Barcelona is the coastal town of Vilanova i la Geltrúwith its picturesque architecture, woodland and beaches and amidst it, all is the indie folk music festival, Vida. It is the perfect festival to go all out with the best of folk music while taking in the essence of the timeless town. The truly magical experience is set to go all out with its fifth edition from 28th June to 1st July 2018. The lineup includes some major artists along with some promising new ones. Of Montreal, Elvis Perkins, Hookworms, Josh Rouse to name a few in the list of the lineup, the festival is said to be hosting as many as 30 artists with tickets starting at $22.

6. Afropunk Fest, Brooklyn, US

A celebration of a culture through music, art and drama, Afropunk fest has been honouring the black arts and culture for the past 11 years. With the best of punk and hip-hop music, Afropunk fest brings another edition to Brooklyn with a crazy huge lineup of talented artists like Jaden Smith, Willow Smith, Janielle Monae, Trash Talk, Miguel and many others. It is the ultimate black cultural experience which should be on your lists for your best musical ailment. 7. Cactus Festival, Belgium


The Cactus festival is a staple in the music world and has been going on since the 1980s in the middle of the Cactus Oasis in Bruges, Belgium. The festival grounds and the music are known for their family-friendly amenities and the oasis even features a swimming pool. What a great chance to catapult into the waters while dancing to the grooves of great music! You should probably book your tickets for 13th to 15th July 2018 because time doesn’t wait, mate! The line up includes HER, The Mystery Lights, SUUNS, Douglas Firs among many others. Tickets won’t even take a toll on your pocket because they are just $50 for one and $119 for a three days extravaganza pass.

8. Float Fest, Texas, US


Combine two of summer favourites, outdoor music and river floating and that is what makes the Float Fest of Texas. It is all about living in outdoor camps, river floats and of course, music! What better way to relax in the summers! The two-day experience is the best you will ever have and it is not too late to book the tickets; the fest is to take place on the 21st and 22nd of July 2018. Chug down those beers of Texas to some amazing lineup artists like Snoop Dogg, Tame Impala, BassNectar, Lil Wayne to name a few with tickets starting at $99, all inclusive through the weekend, camping, admission and transportation.

9. Panorama festival, NYC, US


It is true what they say, America never sleeps! If you were sad about not being able to make it to Coachella then don’t fret anymore, the producers of the latter have got you one of the fabulous music festivals right off the coast of Manhattan in Randall Island. It may not be the cheapest in the list but a $99 per day ticket will get you the highlighters of the festival like the Weeknd, The Killers and Janet Jackson this year. This three-day event will be bigger than ever from 27th to 29th of July, 2018.

10. Melt Festival, Germany


This one on the list is the biggest festival in Germany you must visit, especially if you are a techno and electronica fan. Those bass drops echoes throughout the old coal mines and towering iron cranes of Gräfenhainichen perfectly adding on to the character of the festival. The music echoes 24-hours through the course of three days on the sleepless floors with one of the most uniquely lit laser backdrop of the stage. You should probably get your barbeque and camping kit ready because the ground is all yours with the best of lineup heating it up in the background. This year’s 21st edition lineup includes the best of Florence and the Machine, The XX, Mura Masa, Alma and how could we forget, Jon Hopkins! All of it just for the ticket price of $150 for a three days pass from 13th to 15th July 2018.
